Most commercial blu ray applications come with the keys built in and have a way to regularly update them (see CyberLink PowerDVD) but if you're in my boat, finding a free option is a bit of a pain. VLC is unfortunately one that due to the regular updating of encryption keys, they require you to be able to supply your own keys for blu ray playback.ĭiscs you burn yourself will not have this problem but playback of actual movies will require a bit of setup.
